Dreamgirls

A few days ago, I watched the movie "Dreamgirls". Actually, I watched this movie because I had a presentation about pop song and I chose the ost of this movie "Listen". First, I just watched the music video of this song and I thought it was really good song. And then, I watched this movie. This film is the adaptation from the 1981 hit Broadway musical about a 1960s female singing group The Supremes. Also, this film won three awards at Golden Glove Awards in 2007. I really like this movie. Sung by Beyonce knowles and Jennifer Hudson are perfect and really impressive. I'd like to recommed this movie to you guys.

power walking

My favorite exercise is just walking. Also, I prefer to go for a walk out side than go to a gym. These days, I try to walk more because I want to loose my weight. Actually, I gained about 10 pounds in calgary, and I really mad about that. On this weekend, I went to power walking. I walked as fast as possible for 1 hour. I think my home in calgary is really good place to go for a walk. It is quite a big village, so there are many houses. In this reason, I feel it is safe when I go for a walk by myself. Also, there are just a few people and cars on the road, so they don't disturb my way. There are just one thing which bother me. It is the weather in Calgary. The weather is getting colder and colder, so I'm not sure I can keep going power walking.

long weekend

I traveled Edmonton in last long weekend with my friends. I went to a western Edmonton mall and UofA, etc. And then, I walked along old strathcona at night time. There are many Christmas decorations on the street and all around city. It was beautiful. Also, the Western Edmonton mall, the largest mall in the world, is really huge. I shopped little bit. I think the atmosphere of Edmonton is little different from Calgary. Edmonton is older and quieter city than Calgary and there are subway. My short travel to Edmonton was really interesting.

my best friend

Actually, one of my best friends who graduated same high school with me has stayed calgary since last December. When I arried in calgary, she helped me a lot. She taught me how can I take a c-train in here and where is the best place in calgary like that. Also, when I missed korean food, her family cooked korean food to me and sometimes I slept over in her house. However, she will leave calgary on this Wednesday, so I spent last weekend with her. It was the last meeting before she left. We talked a lot and took pictures and ate korean food together. After she leave calgary, I will feel really lonely and miss her a lot. We can meet 4 months later, so I can wait. I want to say to her, "Jae eun, thanks a lot. You're my the best friend. See you in next February in seoul."
